Well all, we are mid-season and absolutely loving all of the many moments of living life out here! Each trip is just so unique and as always, we hold an infinity of gratitude to be able to play out here and share in real, raw and life changing moments with you all.
We strengthen our relationships within ourselves, those that we invite with us, and in community. We sync up to the rhythms of nature, we slow down, we take deep breaths and sigh with absolute content. We exist in the now. We learn our own resilience. We feel alive in the swell and in the passages of unease and calm. We are all the more awake to this life we are living.
This season has already gifted us with many special moments. We have had the fortune of sitting around campfires until mid-July (thank you rain), telling stories and watching the long days turn into starry skies. We have swum in the bioluminesence and we have woken up to the most beautiful sunrises.
The clouds have told ever changing stories throughout the day, and the sun has warmed our souls. Even the few drops of rain have given us reprieve. We especially love watching and listening to rain drops from the coziness of our kayaks. The sight of raindrops bouncing off the ocean and the unique “tssss” sound is special over and over again.

The shift into a quieter season is a beautiful thing. The mammals are all full of food and seemingly more playful and content.
